groundhog day (am i the only one who gets this reference??)

Or...Déjà vu all over again.

I thought Groundhog Day was behind us, until these magically appeared in my basement (the French Provincial furniture...not mon chien):

It seems I'm reliving the past.  And a post.

My awesome pal, Anya, decided I should sell her Mon Cher Pierre, since she has some matching pieces from her childhood that her beautiful daughter, Natalie, now uses.

So, out with the "new," and um...in with the old?

And since this is now Groundhog Post, it's very fitting that my hubby (and fixer-upper) is named Phil.  Coincidence?  I think not.

My Phil and Punxsutawney Phil:

I won't regurgitate the entire post from Pierre, but here are a few highlights.  These are the graphics we chose from The Graphics Fairy:

After the tops were all painted in ASCP Old White, I traced the images using graphite paper (I forgot to snap a shot of the Paris top after I traced it):

Philly did a little repair work and I painted the rest to match Pierre.  They all got a coat of wax, and headed down the rue!

Am I the only who sees a resemblance here??

I Christen Thee Isabeau (mama chest) and Henri (baby chest).  Now go home to Pierre!!

These pieces were featured!

    1. Thanks Sandi! The colors were my first (and so far only) cans of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint...I used Old White, and a 1:1 mix of Old White and Coco. I loved how they looked together! Thanks for visiting!

  3. Hi Andi,
Your revamped dressers are beautiful. Love the colors you chose and the graphics are such a nice touch. Your picture of your hubby is too funny as is the side by side shot of the nightstand and the little monster.
Thanks for linking up to Saturday Sparks and be sure to check back Friday for the Fabulous Features.
    Have a Wonderful Day,
    Suzanne
