But the last of the toilets has finally set and (ahem) properly broken in.
Remember when I had to pee in the basement?
We've come a long way, baby.
Progress has crept into our master bath. We now have a floor, a door, a shower curtain, and a roll of toilet paper.
Here's where we were in the "pseudo reveal":
Awesome vanity...
Mess:
Mess:
The last of the flooring has also been installed. Here's the underlayment we used. Phil thought it was brilliant.
Tiles being measured and placed:
Voila!
Toilet (and toilet paper). Because one should not exist without the other:
And because I promised a shower curtain and a door:
And because Eddie was feeling left out:
He's getting a shave and a haircut Saturday. It will cost more than two bits. But he will no longer be Mr. Woolly Von Schnauzer.
OH! And we finally ordered trim. We're moving like a herd of turtles now.
Looking good! I love how color coordinated Mr. Woolly Von Schnauzer is.
ReplyDeleteEddie is camouflaged against your tile! I cannot see how shaggy he is. You could always groom him yourself like I do Ginger. snort, snort. She currently has, we'll call them "style lines" in her fur. I'm saying I did them on purpose and nobody can say otherwise. The undercarriage is always tricky. And we did almost snip her ear off once...but it's all good. You should give it a try. I do love your bathroom. Gorgeous. I am desperate for your tile.
ReplyDeleteThe snails had better watch out for you! I do lurve it!(even without a dyson)
ReplyDeleteVon Schnauzer would like a rug, please. I am a fan of the curve of the tub front. If had a bathroom as swanky as this I would throw a party and make all my guests gather in that room.
ReplyDeleteHi, Eddie! I stayed in a hotel once that had the toilet in its own little room, adjacent to the rest of the bathroom. Someone could be pooping while someone else brushed teeth.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I like Eddie-Chewbacca. I feel like cuddling him! The new shower curtain is very chic and the new floor is absolutely perfect (please tell Phil I said so!).
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh.....toilet...........ain't life grand? It's the little things isn't it? I'm still in LOVE with your flooring. I want it. I will have it. Someday. It will come when my prince does. And that ship that I've been told is coming. Probably along with certain places freezing over. In the meantime, I'm enjoying yours.
ReplyDeleteThe floor was super-affordable! Of course, it's completely gone from Menards now. They can't even order it. I guess it was a one-time only buy. I walked in on the right day! And thank goodness I bought enough because I would have been totally screwed if we had come up short....
DeleteI love the tile! I have seen it a lot lately, and I really like it. Progress like a turtle is still progress :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful! How clever to match the bathroom decor to the dog.
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing! I really love that floor. What color grout did you use?
ReplyDeleteEddie is almost invisible with that floor tiles color.. whats the brand of your toilet bowl ?
ReplyDeleteDelta Prelude elongated...we got it at the Home Depot. We also bought a soft-close toilet seat there so it won't slam shut. :)

I love that flooring... love the vanity. love the fluffy dog, too. Looking GOOD!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you don't have to pee in the basement any more or outside like a dog, oh sorry that is Tim and Leo they love to go outside and pee, don't ask me why they are male and strange
ReplyDeletePhil peed out back all during the building process. Made me so jealous.
DeleteIt's coming together beautifully, Andi! Love the new shower curtain. Looks great with the floor :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome toilet and paper! Seriously love your taps I have major tap envy now, and tile envy! Just new house envy, alright enough coveting, apparently it's a sin.
ReplyDeleteWhat's that tub? That's EXACTLY the kind I want! I like your dog, too, but not going to get another until I retire.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Your bathroom is coming right along and looking gorgeous! I love that tile and it's true...it makes Eddie almost disappear! Glad you have a new throne!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm is my hubby there? You mentioned turtles and he's missing....Love Love Love the tile, toilet, taps, and tub with a capital T.
ReplyDeleteYour bathroom rocks, Eddie rocks, and Phil rocks (but don't tell him). Oh, and you rock too ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's really coming together beautifully. Love the curve of that tub! Eddie must have thought he was the design inspiration for the tile. Hey... whatever works, and your bathroom seriously works! It's looking awesome!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous choice of flooring Andi - really - just gorgeous !!!
ReplyDeleteYes sir, that's her toilet noooooowwwww
XOX
I like Eddie all woolly!!
ReplyDeleteHerd of turtles--LOL! It is really coming along! Nothing like a door on the privy to make your day. :)
Once again, I wish I had an eye. LOOKS AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteThe floor is fantastic, since I have seen it in person at the store now I know what it looks like installed, and I love it.
ReplyDeleteKudos to your renovation team, Andi! You’ve done a great job on combining the colors of the wood, the shower curtain, the door and the vanity. I wonder if your rooms reveal the same theme. By the way, have you posted a complete bathroom reveal? Please send the link to me. Thanks! :)
