a culvert, a pole, an excavator, and some weed

I can't remember if I've mentioned my culvert yet.  Probably not, since a culvert isn't sexy enough to have its own post.

Meet Culvert:

He's hiding in the ditch so the neighbors can't see him.

I grew up in a hood with culverts, and I still didn't really know what one was until I got my very own.  I thought it was a place to get killer turtle sundaes.

They'll pour pea-gravel stuff below and on top of the culvert since we have ditches and no sidewalks.  That way the driveway is nice and stable.

The boys (Philly and his bestest buddy Brent) set up our temporary power pole today.  I refer to Brent as "The Mistress," but I think both the boys would get mad if I mention that, so I won't.

and Eddie photobombs:

single blogging buds know that he's single too...

And if we don't have the pole, then...

We won't...have...the powerrr!

(Until the power company hooks it up.)

Now...on to the excavator.

Woohoo!

I think my tractor's sexy.

Cuz it digs my hole {snort}.

Tomorrow!!!!

Finally, I promised some weed.  Here it is
(with another Eddie bomb):

See that patch of weeds surrounded by vampire stakes and string?  Yep folks...that's where the new shack is going to sit.  Are you impressed yet?  No?  Well just wait until tomorrow!  See you then!

  6. The mini-excavator has revolutionized diverse land cleaning functions that were all earlier done by hand. The main function of the mini-excavator is akin to those of the lowly shovel.
