santa and jingle balls

Everyone has been sharing their Christmas home tours, so I thought I'd share mine as well.  Don't worry, it won't take long.

Here's the extent of my decorating this year.

This is actually a very special Santa that Phil's dad bought when Phil was just a wee lad.

Wee Lad?  I just made it sound like Phil is Irish or Scottish or something.  He's Italian.  I'm a little bit Irish, but mostly Polish.  Shocker.

Phil lost his dad when he was only 7 years old, so he's a pretty special Santa.

And then there's Roscoe.  I kinda flaunted Roscoe when I showed off my nice rack.

He used to be our indoor cat, but since That Damn Cat has to live outside, I kicked Roscoe out as well.

He greets the UPS man who delivers all the fun stuff I buy for myself.

I thought I'd get him some Jingle Bells to wear around his neck, but when I realized I couldn't slide them over his fat head, I found a more appropriate place to hang them.

So instead, Roscoe got Jingle Balls.

Merry Christmas!!!

  4. oh, lawd! I am also Polish on my dad's side, but my Anglophile mother (my grandmother was a Scottish war bride, and my mom was born in the commonwealth) likes to ignore that. Polish girls always decorate with balls--it's in our genetic code.
